IDEXX on-site water testing
How to test on-site
Any staff member can learn to use IDEXX tests in minutes
There is no special training or certification, just easy-to-follow instructions.
Step 1: Collect the sample
Use the Water Management Society's recommended method for sample collection.
Step 2: Prepare the sample and incubate
Snap open the reagent sachet and combine with 100 ml water sample. Cap and shake the vessel to mix. Pour the sample into Quanti-Tray and seal using the Quanti-Tray Sealer PLUS. Incubate the Quanti-Tray for the specified time at the designated temperature.
Step 3: Read results
Count the coloured or fluorescing wells to determine results. Cells that appear positive before the full incubation period are considered confirmed positives.
